HIRING: Experienced Assistant For A Lead Stylist

We are Sugar Salon in Duluth and we are an upscale professional established commission structured salon with over five years at the same location. We currently have a position open for an experienced Salon Assistant who can "hit the ground running", who is GA licensed or has completed Cosmetology School. A great candidate would be someone who has assisted a team of Stylists or a Salon Owner in a salon and who knows how to keep a Stylist caught up and on schedule.

Salon Assistant Requirements:
-ga licensed is a plus
-must have salon assistant experience of one year or more
-must be passionate about the industry
-must have speed and accuracy due to large clientele
-will be assisting our lead stylist
-our lead stylist has a big clientele, you must be reliable, dependable and have open availability
-this position is not for an inexperienced Assistant who has no speed nor accuracy, this is for a skilled, highly experienced Assistant who can do a roller set in 15 minutes or less, got fabulous blow drying skills and more

Salon Assistant Duties:
-performing roller sets
-prepping for relaxers
-shampooing clients
-blow drying clients
-braiding hair for sewn in weaves
-tidying up salon
-checking out clients
-other duties per Lead Stylist
