It is responsible for project activities through the management of outsourced vendors, coordination with internal departments and management of client relationships with the Business Units. Partners with the CRE team to assist in real estate strategic planning, project financial analysis, oversight and conformance to CRE policy. Manages project budgets and schedules with minimal oversight and adheres to budget to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.Primary Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesWorks with the CRE Team and Business Unit customers to identify business requirements, establish a project plan and assist in the execution of the plan utilizing outsourced vendors. Manages activities with internal departments involved with the projects (IT, Administration, Critical Facilities and Corporate Security.).Provides some oversight to outsourced vendors to ensure quality and compliance with company policy and procedures. Ensures the scope, budget and schedule for the projects are realized through value added focus.Manages client relationships with internal Business Units and mediates negotiations between Business Units on space management issues.Participates on crisis management teams composed of Business Unit personnel, outsourced vendors and other internal departments (IT, Corporate Security, Business Continuity, HR, etc..) for quick resolution of facility operations emergencies and issues.Prepares budgets and updates the CRE data base and Tririga to ensure real estate project management data and space allocation information is accurate.Manages the bidding and contracting of projects.Assists in improving the project management process, project management tools, document controls, project metrics through benchmarking and continuous improvement activities.Assists in the development and implementation of the strategic occupancy plan to ensure achievement of occupancy goals, including cost containment and reduction.Monitors payments and the accounting of project costs by outsourced vendors to ensure compliance with departmental and corporate accounting requirements including the timely close-out of projects.Responsible for adherence to corporate furniture, construction and space utilization standards on all projects. Ensures compliance with all applicable local and national codes relating to each project.Acts as a resource for corporation on issues related to project construction issues, costs, codes, space utilization, furniture, finishes and facilities operational issues.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree with concentration in Business administration, Construction Management, Real Estate, Architecture, Finance or a related field with an emphasis on commercial construction/real estate project management is preferred.Education, Work Experience & Knowledge10 - 15 years' experience in project management for a corporate real estate department or service provider; a space planning and design firm (specifically Tenant Improvement and project management work); or commercial construction (preferably in Tenant Improvement work) with experience managing external vendors, coordinating work teams, overseeing bid processes, interfacing with management and supervising project managers.Environmental/Work Schedules/OtherTravel (Occasionally)Physical RequirementsOperates standard office equipment (Frequently) Sitting (can stand at will) (Frequently) Standing (Occasionally) Use of Keyboards, Sporadic 10-Key (Frequently) To apply for this position pleaseCLICK HERE
