Job Description Real Estate Research Analyst / Real Estate Paralegal Do you have years of real estate closing and/or title research or real estate paralegal experience but are tired of doing the same thing and want more control over your calendar? Are you naturally organized, detailed oriented and enjoy solving problems? If the above sounds like you, then our client, a well-established claims management company located in Roswell, GA has a newly created position of Real Estate Research Analyst / Real Estate Paralegal that could be a great fit for you. Our client has developed a streamlined methodology to recover funds for unclaimed property / real estate and the key to this position is to apply your knowledge of real estate to successfully manage the claims process. You will also help the client build a "knowledge database" and define processes and procedures. This is an individual contributor role, so you will not manage others, but you will play a key role in refining processes and challenge the status quo. There is also plenty of room for advancement combined with the flexibility to set your own schedule. Our client currently successfully operates in 3 states with plans to expand into additional states in the near future and this position will play a key role in these expansion plans. Specific duties for the Real Estate Research Analyst / Real Estate Paralegal : Build a "claims management" checklist for each claim and understand the exact steps needed in order to manage all open items to have the claim approved and paid. Provide outstanding Customer Service to claimants, internal resources as well as local government agencies. Demonstrate a mastery of Lien Priorities, understand what a valid real estate lien entails, and use this knowledge to seek out "deals" worth pursuing. Utilize and enhance the existing "knowledge database" for how to process real estate claims in various jurisdictions. To qualify for the Real Estate Research Analyst / Real Estate Paralegal position: · 5+ years of experience working in the real estate industry with a strong preference for candidates with experience as a real estate paralegal, mortgage/loan processor, administrative assistant with closing document experience, or real estate title research experience. · Must have excellent customer service skills and enjoy working with people. · Candidates must enjoy "research and analysis". · Must be very detail oriented and organized. · Experience with real estate legal issues specific to Georgia, Florida, Arizona, and/or Nevada are highly preferred. · A college degree is highly preferred but not required.
