:Ensure direct reports are trained and coached on each skill required to be successful in their position.
:Provide feedback and developmental tasks to direct reports based off of strengths and weaknesses.
:Direct, coordinate and manage planned activities of the facility maintenance team for mechanical, physical structure, utilities, electrical, telecommunications and other systems.
:Coordinate activities of the facility maintenance team in addressing safety concerns identified through area and plant:wide audits.
:Ensure equipment and system inspections are regularly conducted for safety and working condition.
:Ensure that all maintenance projects and activities are aligned with applicable regulatory codes.
:Evaluate project proposals and oversee contractors working within the facility.
:Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practice requirements for yourself and all direct reports.
:Perform any other duties as directed by the supervisor and/or manager.
Core Skills and Qualifications::/h1:
The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:
:Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on:going communications about safety and quality issues.
:Knowledge of LOTO procedures.
:Knowledge and understanding of hand tools.
:Knowledge and understanding of power tools.
:Knowledge of high and low voltage systems.
:Knowledge of structured cabling and network structure.
:High School Diploma or GED preferred.
:Five (5) years experience in facility maintenance.
:Three (3) years experience in a manufacturing environment.
:Three (3 years experience in project management.
:Ability to maintain systems associated with Environmental Health.
:Ability to interpret written and oral communication and apply information appropriately.
:Ability to effectively communicate with other employees using both verbal and written methods.
:Ability to use basic mathematic skills such as addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
:Ability to teach and train a diverse group of people.
:Ability to teach and train in a classroom setting.
:Ability to teach and train in a production setting.
:Ability to work weekends as needed.
:Ability to work a 12:hour shift.
:Ability to work overtime as needed.
