Website Optimization Strategist (Atlanta, Georgia):W432689
The Web Optimization Strategist is responsible for developing and executing business strategies, processes and policies to enhance the sales and service experiences intrinsic to SunTrusts digital spaces. This position has the responsibility to:
- Serve as advocate and SME for use of and enhancements to the visitor experience for suntrust and other digital assets.
- Proactively develop and lead initiatives within the business to identify opportunities for optimization efforts within the online experiences
- Serve as the SME for online visitor journeys to identify key areas for visitor engagement
- Identify and develop strategies for online visitor segments. (Personalization)
- Leverage analytics and other data to develop substantiated plans to test alternate experiences/functionality to drive incremental sales and service performance
- Interface with Adobe Consulting and other partners to develop and launch tests
- Represent Optimization to Lines of Business and provide consultation on planning and testing as well as report optimization results.
- Evangelize, support and build a data:driven culture
- Support online, mobile, and tablet channels.
- Evaluate alternatives and identify solutions to address eCommerce challenges
- Participate and lead in regularly scheduled website optimization discussions, test launches and functional releases to ensure experience meets technical requirements, usability standards, and stated business objectives.
- Proactively seek and implement solutions that increase productivity and efficiency, partnering with technology and business partners as needed.
This position is responsible for building relationships across the company to align the content development group with the direction of the broader organization and to facilitate own function/ discipline goals. This position interacts with internal business customers, including representatives in marketing, human resources, and business operations to design, implement, and support multifaceted content intensive projects.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of experience in a digital sales/optimization with a proven track record of success
- 3+ years working with web analytics
- 3+ years' experience testing (A/B, Multivariate)
- 5+ years' experience working in a matrixed organization and supporting cross disciplined teams.
- 2+ years of experience with personalization,segmentation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fluency in B2C/B2B digital sales methodology and best practices
- Fluency in web analytics (Adobe Analytics/ Site Catalyst/ Omniture) and proven ability to interpret and recommend solutions based on data
- Understanding of multi:platform Internet browsing, usability and customer focused web development
- Ability to identify, map and optimize customer journeys through the website based on data and optimization best practices
- Web development best practices
- Ecommerce marketing knowledge to understand trends and how to approach them to solve and implement solutions for the business user.
- Personalization, segmentation, and testing practices and protocols for reaching customers via the web to entice them further into the conversion funnel.
- Management and organizational behavior skills to effectively manage a variety of skill levels and individuals.
- Project management and discipline planning skills.
- Negotiation and collaboration skills to reach mutually agreeable decisions to surpass business needs within confined budgets.
- Strong presentation and persuasion skills for presenting budget ideas and recommendations to senior executives.
- Excellent communication skills to resolve urgent and delicate situations.
- Wireframing, design, and IA skills to review and promote ideas from content development team.
- MECLABS certifications (Landing Page, testing, value proposition) a plus
