The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston provides comprehensive care for children in a specialized environment. Childrens offers access to more than 400 specialists in 31 pediatric, medical and surgical specialties. Our 36 bed unit sees patients of all ages (infant : 18+) covering a variety of illnesses and diagnoses,
including neuro, neuro/trauma, orthopedics, respiratory failure, hematology/oncology, sepsis patients, and other medical/surgical ICU needs.
The Clinical Nurse performs nursing process while providing direct patient care in a safe and effective manner that promotes quality patient outcomes and functions as member of interdisciplinary healthcare team.
:Graduation from accredited school of nursing 13;

:Georgia licensed Registered Nurse
:Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment
:Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) within 1 year of employment as required by department 13;
