Dwell Design Studio is a dynamic Architecture, Interiors and Planning firm with offices in Alpharetta, GA and McLean, VA. Our firm's primary project types include Residential, Retail and Commercial Office, ranging from custom Single Family to Multi-family low-rise, mid-rise, high-rise, urban-infill, mixed-use, and market rate senior, student and affordable housing. Our focus is to provide exceptional client service by understanding the target market, providing quality design documents, and designing environmentally friendly projects within established budgets and aggressive schedules.

We are experiencing continued growth, and have identified the need for an Interior Designer or Interior Architect in our Alpharetta office join our innovated and fast-paced Interiors team.

Interior Designer/Architect Role:

Contribute to all phases of Interior Design project deliverables from Concept Design through CA with an emphasis on construction documents
Work with oversight in the development of a Revit based set of design and construction documents at each stage of the work
Take initiative to problem solve and communicate design ideas by sketching and/or graphics
Assists in space planning, revisions to drawings, and consultant coordination to execute final construction documents
Produce vision boards, material palettes and digital and physical design boards for presentations with minimal supervision
Execute necessary documentation for finish plans, specifications, and material selections required for construction

Essential Qualifications:

Has experience in multifamily, mixed use and student housing project types preferred. Commercial design experience is a must.
3 - 7 years of experience post-graduation as an interior designer or interior architect
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field from a CIDA or NCARB accredited school is required
Flexibility to focus on multiple concurrent projects in various stages of development at one time
Strong exposure to ADA compliance and building codes
Proficient in Revit Architecture or aptitude to learn based on previous AutoCAD experience, Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), MS Office, and FFE specification writing programs is a plus
