Job Description:
The Digital Marketing Specialist contributes to the company’s success by coordinating and implementing communications initiatives, specifically related to supporting brands through the use of online tools and resources, such as email, web content and advertising, digital imagery, blogs, and various web analytics instruments. Responsibilities
Develops, improves, updates, and measures online communications vehicles, including the internal corporate portal (as necessary), corporate web site/s and blog site, internal project management sites
Responsible for managing content integration, collateral materials, and web publications, which includes creating and editing marketing materials, reports, and other electronic materials
Monitors profitability and performance of campaigns using web tracking and analytics software
Manages SEO, on-page and off-page optimization of content and keywords to enhance usability and search ability
Responsible for online corporate reputation management through monitoring and assisting with resolution and promotion of relevant content
Manages online advertising, paid search (PPC), and online promotions
Conducts research, compiles and analyzes statistical reports Assists with posting, monitoring and analyzing social media outlets on behalf of the company, as needed Project Development & Management Partners with project owners to execute projects from start to finish and is responsible for building cross-functional relationships to aid in the development and completion of compelling, creative, and accurate web content.
Manages assigned projects from idea generation, planning, implementation, follow-up and evaluation
Assists Marketing Manager in achieving company goals by executing marketing objectives, strategies, and tactics, including coordination with marketing staff to promote products and events Prepares and tracks budget as necessary, as well as monitors budgetary spending to assist in delivering maximum return on investment
 Assists in writing content and developing presentations, including online and video
 Edits and proofreads marketing materials and content, as assigned
 Creates links to support promotional emails, online advertising, and other web communications
 Develops and implements online market research surveys
 Education and/or Experience                                                         Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university in marketing, business or technology
 Skills Understanding of web development, including content, design, and functionality
Basic HTML knowledge and functional skills
Proficiency with web and social media analytics
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Highly organized and detail oriented
Strong time management skills to achieve successful implementation of tasks and projects
Positive attitude that inspires departmental and cross-functional team members to deliver maximum job performance
Knowledge of Spreadsheet and Word Processing software
Familiarity with social media networks (Facebook, You Tube, Twitter and LinkedIn) from a B2B commercial standpoint
Experience with CRM systems is beneficial
