Job Duties Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to manage staff activities in solving common and complex business/technical issues. Manage expert and master level technical people in multi-disciplinary environment. Provides guidance on process improvements and recommends changes in alignment with business tactics and strategy for area of responsibility. Plans, manages and monitors operational/tactical activities of Staff. Staff members work may involve strategic issues. Recruits and supports development of direct staff members. Job Description As the Manager for the Technical Team you will be responsible for: · Team structure and personnel management, including training, hiring, and related projections. · Escalations management in the Americas (NA, LAC), working with internal and external customers to ensure proper case handling; · Process Management of assigned activities. Mainly; call escalation Mgmt, product Mgmt, NPI regional planning, cost reduction projects, knowledge transfer projects Develop methodologies for proactive and predictive type services · Work with other HP’s teams (Remote support, ASMs, WWTS, GBU, field etc.) in Matrix environment to achieve objectives · Coordinate the technical aspects of incoming escalations with regional field support personnel and other support Tiers; · Document custom solutions, and be able to assist in training and sharing information to facilitate the ongoing education for all internal skill levels
