Champions Champs was created to help the youth around the world deal with bullying along with others things they could be facing. Champions Champs Be a champ not a bully is a Nonprofit Organization. We are looking for Volunteer Board Members at this time this is just a volunteer position. We just want someone that has a passion to help us uplift our Youth Communities. Champs mission is To create a safe place as well as provide a pathway for hope, greatness, and well-being. We aspire to create a sense of self-worth.

We currently need a Secretary/Treasurer and Board Development Director

Secretary/Treasurer- Act as a member of the Executive Committee Oversee and review the monthly financial statements. Call and preside over meetings of the Finance Committee, including development of the meeting agenda.Ensure that the association’s financial policies are respected. Ensure that Secretary/Treasurer duties routinely carried out by the organizations staff are completed and reported to the Secretary/Treasurer. Present the financial statements to the Board of Directors meetings. Oversee the preparation of the annual audited financial statements. Sign the annual audited financial statements after they have been approved by the Board of Directors. Presents the motion at the Annual General Meeting to appoint auditors for the association. Sign the approved minutes of each Board of Directors meeting after the meeting minutes have been approved by the Board of Directors and will ensure that the minutes are maintained at the office. Perform other related duties as requested

Board Development Director -
Strong interpersonal and writing skills.
Have knowledge and experience in fund raising techniques, particularly major gift fundraising.
Possess the skills to work with and motivate staff, board members and other volunteers.
Have the desire to get out of the office and build external relationships.
Be a “self-starter” and goal driven to initiate donor visits and fundraising call
Meet prospective donors and supporters on a continual basis to establish effective communications with them.
Grow a major gifts program including identification, cultivation and solicitation of major donors.
Oversee grant seeking including research, proposal writing, and reporting requirements.
Build the planned giving program with a focus on deferred gifts such as bequest expectancies.
Direct the annual fund program, including mailings and annual fundraising drives.
Direct capital campaigns and other major fundraising drives.
Coordinate fund raising special events.
Direct employee fundraising drives.
Oversee prospect research.
Work closely with Executive Director, and Board of Directors.
Make public appearances/accept speaking engagements to share information about the organization with the community.
Staff Board Development Committee meetings.
Oversee fundraising database and tracking systems.
Supervise and collaborate with other fundraising staff.
Oversee creation of publications to support fund raising activities.
Maintain gift recognition programs.
Demonstrate professional conduct at all times.
Perform other related duties as requested.
