JOB DESCRIPTION: • Analyzes, interprets, and consolidates data to formulate problem statements and concise conclusions regarding fraud trends. Identifies and establishes key risk indicators and metrics. Builds fraud models and provides statistical input for the development and implementation of transactional fraud modeling strategies, policies, plans and programs. • Writes SQL queries to extract, transform, and aggregate data and provide key insights on performance. Identifies fraud patterns and creates and tracks fraud metrics. Uses results to assist in the early identification of fraud trends, provide recommendations, reduce operations costs, and increase operations efficiency. • Monitors multiple data sources at a time, detects fraud and follows-up on relevant problem solving process. Evaluates fraud risks for daily transaction and special campaigns. Generates regular and ad-hoc operational reports. Builds automated dashboards and monitoring and alerting frameworks. Actively works on replacing manual work and processes with automated logics and procedures. • Monitors portfolio performance for shifts within fraud scenarios. Identifies and completes root cause analysis of fraud trends and works with the line of business partners to determine process changes and/or deficiencies to curtail fraud and increase loss avoidance. Provides summaries and detailed analysis of findings, potential risks, and proposed action plans to address identified issues, including recommendations regarding the implementation of additional security measures based on findings. • Track and maintain fraud data • Transform data into meaningful analysis • Create and maintain easily digestible fraud reports • Execute complex ad hoc data analysis • Proactively identify fraud trends within the portfolio • Monitor all reporting and escalate any exceptions • Communicate recommended solutions to management and cross functionally

QUALIFICATIONS: • Expert in Excel (macros, pivot tables, and v-lookups) • Excellent analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative) • Highly proficient in PowerPoint and Word • Advanced SQL required • Intermediate to advanced VBA required • Experience with SQL, SAS, Python • Bachelor's degree required preferably with analytical or business focus • Must be a self starter with the ability to work with little direction
