The summer internship program provides current college/graduate students the opportunity to work on meaningful, project:based assignments in various non:clinical areas.
Intern responsibilities may include project management, event planning/support, logistics, data base management, research and analysis. Students typically work full time during the summer program, which runs from mid May to early August.
The Corporate Partnerships team seeks to build meaningful relationships with companies, specifically ones with a significant presence in the metro Atlanta area, with the ultimate objective of achieving our annual fundraising goal for Childrens. Donor engagement is Childrens foundation for relationship:building. Our best and longest relationships are those that include multifaceted employee engagement as well as corporate and employee giving.
College student working toward an undergraduate or graduate degree in Journalism, Communications, Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration or related field

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES* 13;
:Long:term: Matching Gifts Project
:Record, track, and analyze current matching gift revenue
:Develop a plan to increase revenue and participation rates from companies and their employees (with help from the Corporate team)
:Support the Corporate Partners fundraising efforts through data entry, gift processing and acknowledgements
:Support the team on the planning, organization and implementation of corporate engagement events, tours and meetings; attend events and interface with donors
:Create prospect memos in order for team to analyze a corporations potential to support Childrens
:Help grow meaningful volunteer program through which we engage Kohls Department Store employees
:Assist with public relations efforts internally and externally to increase awareness of fundraising events
:Execute administrative and operational tasks for assigned projects
SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES* 13;
Safety: Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor and in the occurrence notification system.
Compliance: Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility. Identifies potential risk areas within area of responsibility and supports problem resolution process. Maintains records of compliance activities and reports compliance activities to the Compliance Office.
