Early in 2011, we opened our second physical location in Charlotte, North Carolina. Using the expertise we developed in Atlanta, we offered service in the Triad area of North Carolina as well.
In the Summer of 2011, Redi-Floors acquired Kevco Carpets & Vinyl out of Nashville, Tennessee and added five additional locations into the family. These new locations were rebranded under the Real Floors banner.
After years of building relationships across the Southeast, Redi-Floors began its next phase of expansion in 2013 by opening two additional locations in Orlando FL and Greenville SC. We are extremely excited to begin our new journey into Central Florida and Upstate South Carolina. These cities represent brand new ground for the company and further strengthen our foundation for future growth throughout the region.
Description
Performs a variety of functions in the HR department including onboarding, manage semi-monthly payroll, and maintaining accurate employee records. Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations. Help establish a talent acquisition process; helping managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material.

Essential Functions:
• Process new hire paperwork. Perform recruitment activities, interview and evaluate candidates for select positions. Update and create new HR policies to fit company standards.
• Administer and coordinate benefit programs, including enrollments and terminations. Serve as the COBRA administrator for the company.
• Collects data from multiple sources and creates reports to meet regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication skills. Skillfully handles complaints and inquiries. Possess empathetic abilities in dealing with employees and their questions.
• General knowledge of various employment laws and practices and experience working with a corporate employment law attorney.
• Conduct new-employee orientations to ensure employees gain an understanding of benefits plans and enrollment provisions.
• Manage annual open enrollment period during 4th quarter of each year. Arrange for distribution of plan summary materials and required notices, assist with communicating changes to employees and arrange for onsite representation by providers. Conduct employee presentations. Process changes
• Reconcile monthly billings from insurance providers. Review billings for accuracy, codes and advances for payment. Resolve discrepancies with carriers, payroll and the company.
• Coordinate and assist with the ACA and ERISA benefits reporting requirements. Prepare government reports related to EEO compliance or other HR functions.
• Act as a resource for payroll/HR contacts to ensure their understanding and compliance with benefits and HR policies and regulations.
• May be requested to perform other duties as assigned based on Executive needs.
• Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include knowledge of Excel and skills in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
