The summer internship program provides current college/graduate students the opportunity to work on meaningful, project-based assignments in various non-clinical areas. Intern responsibilities may include project management, event planning/support, logistics, data base management, research and analysis. Students typically work full time during the summer program, which runs from mid May to early August.
The Financial Systems Support department supports Corporate Finance with technology consultation, new technology project implementation and support, and functions as the subject matter experts on multiple Corporate Finance applications and technology initiatives. The Financial Systems Support Intern will implement or assist in implementing projects against Corporate Finance applications, and will support and participate in the continuous assessment and improvement of the quality of services provided by the Financial Systems Support department.

Safety: Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor and in the occurrence notification system.
Compliance: Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility. Identifies potential risk areas within area of responsibility and supports problem resolution process. Maintains records of compliance activities and reports compliance activities to the Compliance Office.
